| Tip #2 |
Bring a piece of fabric from your bridesmaids outfit to the trial, or if you don’t have one, an idea of the colour chosen.
Any photographs of a particular hair style that you want would be good to bring also, bearing in mind that unless you
have exactly the same colour and texture hair as the model, it may not look exactly the same. Photos of make-up style
would also be great if you have something in mind. |
|
| Tip #3 |
If you need a hair cut and colour, ensure that you have it at least one week before. This way you give yourself time to
change it you need to before the wedding. |
|
| Tip #4 |
If you would like false eyelashes, please advise us before the trial, so we can have just the right ones on hand for you.
Alternatively, you can purchase your own before the trial. This way you will have more selection. I would recommend
the girls at the Napoleon Perdis or the Mac Cosmetics stands in the Myer centre in Adelaide. I find these girls very
helpful and they will advise you the best eyelash for your shaped eye and of course your unique personality. We
always advise that you try the false eyelashes before your wedding day, as they do not agree with every person and
we want you to be totally comfortable on your special day. |
|
| Tip #5 |
Have a think about purchasing a wedding day touch up kit. This comes in a gorgeous little silver mesh purse… see
‘specials page’ www.designabeauty.com.au
This includes pressed powder compact, lipstick and lip liner and for the
bridesmaids who don’t get to have a trial but would like a lippy touch up, we have a fabulous little retractable lip brush
which we lace with your very own colour lipstick, for purchase on the day. Lipstick and/or lip gloss are also available
separately for purchase. |
|
| Tip #6 |
Your make up artist should be finished at least 3/4 hour before the photographer arrives. This will allow time for you to
dress before they arrive. We allow 30-45 minutes for make-up and 1 hour pp for hair, so for a party of 6 you would
allow about 4 hours just to be on the safe side. |
|
| Tip #7 |
Wash and condition your hair thoroughly the night before your wedding or on the day itself. This will ensure that your
hair will look fabulous. Oh! …and don’t forget to wear a button up top on the day, so you can easily slip it over your
hair. |
